Joel & audra Matthews
Joel and Audra Mathews serve as Youth Pastors at Family of Faith Community Church. They have served together in youth ministry since 2020 and have been part of the FFCC family since 2024.
Joel and Audra’s heart is to fulfill the Great Commission wherever God calls them. While they have a special passion for reaching and discipling young people, their desire extends to the entire community—youth and families, widows and orphans, those struggling with addiction, and anyone who does not yet know the Lord. Joel served as a youth pastor in his home country of New Zealand for six years before meeting Audra and beginning ministry together. God called them to Newark in 2023, and they have been blessed to serve the community ever since.
Joel and Audra have two children, Ezekiel and Micaiah. As a family, they especially enjoy going on long bike rides together.
They have a deep love for the Body of Christ and are grateful for the relationships they have built at Family of Faith Community Church, carrying a heart to love and serve wherever God leads them next.
